The 3 B's Cheat Sheet & Video Are Below.

The car park was almost empty when he said it.

“I can’t go in like this.”

He was sitting in the driver’s seat staring at the office entrance like it was a stage he hadn’t rehearsed for.

Big presentation.

Senior leadership in the room.

One of those meetings where your career can quietly move forward… or stall.

His breathing was fast.

Shoulders slightly hunched.

Eyes fixed on the steering wheel.

And if you’ve ever been there, you know that moment.

When your mind starts running the greatest hits:

“What if I mess this up?”

“What if they ask something I can’t answer?”

“Why did I say yes to this?”

We’ve all had it.

Those strange few minutes before something important, when stress sneaks in and takes over the controls.

But here’s the interesting part.

He didn’t open his laptop.

He didn’t review his slides again.

He didn’t rehearse what he was going to say.

Instead, he did something small that looked… almost pointless.

He adjusted how he was sitting.

Straightened his back.

Took one slow breath.

Then another.

Then he quietly said something to himself I couldn’t quite hear.

Thirty seconds later he smiled, opened the door, and walked inside.

Same meeting.

Same slides.

Same questions waiting for him.

But a completely different version of him walked through that door.

Calm.

Steady.

Clear.

And honestly?

You’ve probably seen people do this before without realizing what was happening.

The truth is, our state rarely starts in our thoughts.

It starts somewhere else first.

And when you change that starting point, something interesting happens.

Your mind begins to follow.

Now, I know what some people think when they hear things like this.

“Sure… but when I’m stressed, I’m stressed.”

Totally fair.

Stress can feel like it just appears and takes over.

But the people who seem calm in high-pressure moments?

The ones who walk into meetings like they belong there?

They’re often doing something very simple before anyone else notices.

A small internal reset.

It takes less than a minute.

And it can completely shift how you show up.

I recently recorded a short video explaining the simple method behind what he did in that car park.

I call it the 3 B’s.

Rather than explain it all here, I put together a quick walkthrough you can watch in the video below.

You’ll see exactly what those three things are, and how they work together to flip that internal “switch.”

If you’d like to see it, you can watch it here:

It’s short.

And once you see it, you’ll start noticing people using it everywhere.

The next time this might come back to you?

Right before you click “Join Meeting.”

When your shoulders start creeping up toward your ears and your breathing gets a little shallow.

That’s the perfect moment to remember the car park.

One tiny reset.

Completely different version of you walking into the room.
